    Welspun Corp’s Associate EPIC Secures Rs 3,000 Crore Orders in Saudi Arabia

    Welspun Corp, the homegrown industry leader, announced a significant achievement as its associate company, East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (EPIC), bagged orders totaling around Rs 3,000 crore in Saudi Arabia. In a statement released on Thursday, Welspun Corp highlighted EPIC’s success in securing substantial contracts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

    “Associate company East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has received cumulative orders exceeding (Saudi Riyal) SAR 1.32 billion (Rs 3,000 crore),” stated Welspun Corp, showcasing EPIC’s growing prominence in the international market.

    The newly acquired orders encompass various projects, including the supply of steel pipes to Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) with a value exceeding SAR 1 billion (Rs 2,200 crore), inclusive of value-added tax, for the manufacturing and supply of steel pipes.

    Additionally, EPIC secured another substantial order for the manufacturing and supply of steel pipes to Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Aramco), amounting to over SAR 153 million (Rs 339 crore), inclusive of value-added tax.

    Furthermore, EPIC received a significant order for double jointing and coating of steel pipes for Aramco, with a total value exceeding SAR 170 million (Rs 377 crore), inclusive of value-added tax.

    EPIC holds the distinction of being Saudi Arabia’s leading manufacturer of Helical Submerged Arc Welded (HSAW) pipes, showcasing its expertise in the industry. The company’s proven capabilities have attracted substantial business from major entities in the region.

With a remarkable presence across six continents and operations spanning 50 countries, Welspun Corp continues to play a pivotal role in the international steel and pipe manufacturing sector.

The company’s achievements contribute to India’s growing reputation as a hub for high-quality steel and manufacturing capabilities.
