Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) has accelerated its commitment to customer convenience by forging a strategic partnership with SMFG India Credit Co Ltd (formerly Fullerton India Credit Co) to offer attractive financing options on the purchase of its two-wheelers. The collaboration, sealed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to empower customers with seamless access to financial support for their Suzuki motorcycle purchases.

SMFG India Credit, registered as a Non-Banking Financial Company-Investment and Credit Company (NBFC-ICC) with the Reserve Bank of India, is a proud member of the esteemed Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group (SMFG).

Commenting on the partnership, Kenichi UMEDA, Managing Director of SMIPL, expressed the necessity of aligning with financiers capable of facilitating an easy and flexible retail finance experience for Suzuki’s growing customer base in India. He emphasized the goal of providing tailor-made finance offers that cater to the diverse needs of customers.

“We are confident that our engagement with SMFG India Credit will be another step in enhancing our ability to cater to the needs of our growing customer base in India and thereby support our growth plans,” said UMEDA.

Ajay Pareek, Chief Business Officer of SMFG India Credit Co Ltd, highlighted the diversified nature of their Non-Banking Financial Company, asserting their readiness to provide customers with a broad spectrum of tailor-made financial products beyond two-wheeler loans. Pareek emphasized the commitment to assisting customers in achieving their personal and business goals.

Through this collaboration, SMIPL customers can access retail financing options 24/7, accompanied by additional benefits such as swift vehicle loan approvals within minutes and hassle-free documentation processes. The partnership aims to streamline the financing experience, making it more accessible and customer-centric.

As Suzuki Motorcycle India continues its journey of growth and market expansion, this collaboration with SMFG India Credit marks a significant milestone in enhancing customer support and fostering a more inclusive and efficient financing ecosystem for Suzuki enthusiasts across the country.
