Last reviewed: 10 October 2026. Fees and benefits checked against PNB’s official Visa Signature card page on creditcard.pnb.bank.in, the bank’s credit card MITC, its Schedule of Fees and Charges, its credit card FAQ and the revised charges notice effective 1 November 2026.
The PNB Visa Signature credit card is the top card in Punjab National Bank’s regular Visa range below the Luxura metal cards, aimed at customers earning ₹7.5 lakh or more a year. It charges ₹1,500 to join and ₹2,000 a year, with the annual fee waived if you spend ₹3 lakh in the previous financial year. In return you get 2 reward points per ₹100, a 24×7 concierge, Visa offers and a credit limit of up to ₹15 lakh. One important correction to older write-ups, including an earlier version of this page: PNB’s current card page lists airport lounge access as nil.
The card is listed on PNB’s current credit card page as of 10 October 2026.

What you would actually earn
Take a cardholder spending ₹30,000 a month, or ₹3,60,000 a year, which clears the ₹3 lakh waiver line.
- Points: ₹3,60,000 ÷ 100 × 2 = 7,200 points
- Value at ₹0.25: 7,200 × ₹0.25 = ₹1,800
- Redemption fee: ₹99 + 18% GST = ₹116.82 (one request)
- Year one joining fee: ₹1,500 + GST = ₹1,770
- Net value in year one: ₹1,800 minus ₹116.82 minus ₹1,770 = a loss of about ₹87
- Net value from year two (fee waived): ₹1,800 minus ₹116.82 = about ₹1,683
At a lower spend of ₹2 lakh a year, you would earn 4,000 points worth ₹1,000, miss the waiver and pay ₹2,360 in annual fee, ending about ₹1,477 in the red after the redemption charge. The card only makes sense if you are confident of crossing ₹3 lakh every financial year.

How it compares
| Card | Joining / annual fee | Rewards | Lounge | Income |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PNB Visa Signature | ₹1,500 / ₹2,000 | 2 per ₹100 | Nil | ₹7.5 lakh |
| PNB Visa Platinum | Nil / ₹500 | 1 per ₹100 | Nil | ₹5 lakh |
| PNB RuPay Select | ₹500 / ₹750 | 2 per ₹150 | 2 domestic a quarter, 2 international a year | ₹5 lakh |
If lounge access matters to you, the cheaper RuPay Select actually gives more. The Signature wins only on reward rate and credit limit.
Our verdict on the PNB Visa Signature credit card
The Visa Signature suits PNB customers who spend well above ₹3 lakh a year and want a high limit on a globally accepted network. For everyone else, the never waived joining fee, missing lounge access and 0.5% return make it hard to justify. Compare it with no fee cards before applying.
How to apply
Apply through PNB’s online credit card portal or at a branch. Current terms are on the official PNB Visa Signature card page.
