During the inauguration of the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, which witnessed participation from state leaders and prominent CEOs of private companies, PM Modi underscored the world’s view of India as an essential cornerstone of stability, a reliable friend, and a catalyst propelling global economic growth. He portrayed India as a nurturing environment for technology and innovation, pulsating with the dynamism of its talented youth.
“In the rapidly changing world order, India is stepping forward as ‘vishwa mitra,’ offering hope to the world by demonstrating the potential to chart common goals and achieve them,” PM Modi asserted. His address emphasized India’s identity as a partner committed to people-centric development, a vocal advocate for global welfare, and a voice representing the Global South.
PM Modi referenced India’s recent celebration of 75 years of independence, setting an ambitious goal of celebrating 100 years as a beacon of progress. He termed the next 25 years as ‘amrit kaal’ (a golden era) for India, intending to steer the nation towards becoming a developed country.
Acknowledging the significant growth in India-UAE relations, PM Modi credited UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, present as the chief guest, for nurturing and strengthening these ties.
