Mahindra & Mahindra, a prominent player in the Indian automotive industry, has unveiled the XUV400 Pro, marking a significant leap forward in the evolution of its electric sport utility vehicle (e-SUV) lineup. The company’s latest offering aims to compete robustly in the burgeoning electric vehicle (EV) market, aligning with the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility.

    Electrifying Features and Pricing

The XUV400 Pro introduces a host of new features, enhancing its appeal and functionality. The e-SUV is available in three variants:

    1. EC Pro: Equipped with a 34.5 kWh battery and a 3.3 kW AC Charger, this entry-level variant is priced attractively at Rs 15.49 lakh.
    2. EL Pro: Featuring a 34.5 kWh battery and an upgraded 7.2 kW AC charger, the EL Pro is offered at Rs 16.74 lakh.
    3. EL Pro: Fitted with a larger 39.4 kWh battery and a 7.2 kW AC charger, this top-of-the-line variant is priced at Rs 17.49 lakh.

The pricing is introductory and is subject to change after May 31, 2024, as indicated by Mahindra & Mahindra in a media release.

    Refreshed Interiors and Advanced Technology

The XUV400 Pro boasts refreshed interiors, featuring a sophisticated dual-tone dashboard. A highlight of the updated design is the 26.04cm infotainment system and a 26.04cm digital instrument cluster. The redesigned dashboard contributes to the premium and modern aesthetics of the vehicle.

Technological advancements include the incorporation of the Adrenox connected car system, featuring over 50 innovative and convenient features. The e-SUV also introduces a dual-zone automatic temperature control, rear AC vents, and a wireless phone charger. The EL Pro variant further elevates the driving experience with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, complemented by an all-digital instrument cluster.

    Bookings and Delivery

Mahindra & Mahindra will commence bookings for the XUV400 Pro on January 12, requiring an initial booking amount of Rs 21,000. Deliveries are set to begin on February 1, providing customers with an eagerly awaited hands-on experience with the upgraded e-SUV.

    Charging Options and Performance

The XUV400 Pro offers versatility in charging options, with the EC Pro variant featuring a 3.3 kW AC charger and both EL Pro variants equipped with a higher-powered 7.2 kW AC charger. The vehicle’s drivetrain remains consistent, maintaining the high-performance standards, including a remarkable 0-100 kmph acceleration in just 8.3 seconds.

    Future-Ready and Sustainable

With the launch of the XUV400 Pro, Mahindra & Mahindra reinforces its commitment to a sustainable and future-ready mobility ecosystem. The company aims to carve a niche in the electric vehicle market, offering consumers a compelling choice in the e-SUV segment.
