JM Financial, a leading financial services firm, unveiled its impressive financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year, with a remarkable 46% surge in net profit to Rs 278 crore, driven by robust revenue growth across various segments.

In a statement released on Monday, the company highlighted its stellar performance, noting that both its topline and bottomline figures reached record highs for the quarter. Total revenue stood at Rs 1,261 crore, marking an impressive increase of over 33% compared to the same period last fiscal year.

A significant contributor to the firm’s revenue growth was its equity broking division, which witnessed a substantial uptick in average daily turnover, soaring by 50% to reach Rs 42,644 crore. Additionally, the credit segment also demonstrated strength, with the loan book expanding by 49% year-on-year to reach Rs 1,759 crore.

Despite an overall decline in the loan book to Rs 15,111 crore from the previous year, and sequentially from Rs 15,808 crore, JM Financial emphasized its effective management of asset quality. The company reported recoveries totaling Rs 405 crore during the quarter. Notably, gross Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) were recorded at 4.5%, up from 3.6% in the year-ago period, while net NPAs remained stable at 2.2%.

Commenting on the robust performance, JM Financial expressed confidence in its strategic initiatives and operational efficiency, which have enabled the company to navigate through challenging market conditions while delivering strong financial results. The firm remains committed to maintaining its growth trajectory and upholding its reputation as a leading player in the financial services industry.

Investors and industry analysts have reacted positively to JM Financial’s impressive quarterly performance, signaling confidence in the company’s ability to sustain its growth momentum and deliver value to stakeholders amidst evolving market dynamics.

As JM Financial continues to innovate and expand its suite of financial services, all eyes are on the firm’s future prospects and its potential to capitalize on emerging opportunities in the dynamic financial landscape.
