Last reviewed: 9 October 2026. Fees and charges checked against Axis Bank’s official credit card listing, the credit card Key Fact Statement (updated 17 September 2026) and the MITC.
The My Zone Easy credit card is a secured card from Axis Bank, issued against a fixed deposit you hold with the bank. It suits first-time borrowers, students who have just started earning, homemakers and anyone rebuilding a weak credit score, because approval rests on your deposit rather than your salary slips. It is not a rewards powerhouse; its real job is to give you a working credit line and a repayment record that credit bureaus can see.
Axis Bank still lists the card under its FD linked credit cards, alongside Privilege Easy and IndianOil Easy. This review covers the costs, what you can realistically save, and the rules that matter. Our method is explained on the how we rate credit cards, loans and deposits page.

What you would actually earn with the My Zone Easy credit card
Because the official documents we checked do not state a reward rate, we have not assumed one. The benefit you can count on is the fuel surcharge refund, so here is how that stacks up against the fee.
Say you fill up for ₹4,000 a month in a single transaction:
- Surcharge refunded: 1% of ₹4,000 = ₹40 a month
- Yearly refund: ₹40 × 12 = ₹480
- Annual fee with GST: ₹500 + ₹90 = ₹590
- Net from fuel alone: ₹480 minus ₹590 = minus ₹110
So fuel refunds cover most of the fee, but not all of it. Note that a single fill above ₹4,000 falls outside the refund band, so split large fills if you rely on this benefit.
The bigger gain is indirect. Your fixed deposit keeps earning interest while it backs the card; see our Axis Bank FD interest rates table for current returns. And six to twelve months of on-time payments can lift a thin credit file to the point where unsecured cards with better rewards become available.
How to keep costs down
- Pay the full statement amount each month; interest at 49.36% a year wipes out any small benefit.
- Keep usage under about 30% of the limit to help your credit score.
- Avoid cash withdrawals, which carry a fee and interest from day one.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Approval is based on your fixed deposit, so a thin or damaged credit file is not a barrier.
- The deposit keeps earning interest while it secures the card.
- Interest at 3.4% a month is lower than the 3.75% charged on most Axis cards.
- Fuel surcharge refund up to ₹400 per statement cycle.
Cons
- ₹590 a year with GST and no clear spend-based waiver.
- Reward rate is not stated in the bank’s fee documents.
- No confirmed lounge access or welcome benefit.
- Your deposit is locked as security while the card is active.
- 3.5% forex markup makes it costly abroad.

How the My Zone Easy credit card compares

| Privilege Easy | Secured (FD) | ₹1,500 / ₹1,500 | See our Privilege Easy review |

Our verdict
The My Zone Easy card is a sensible, low-cost way to start a credit history if you already keep money in an Axis Bank FD. Skip it if you already qualify for an unsecured card, or if you want strong rewards, because the fee is hard to earn back through benefits alone.
How to apply
Apply on the official Axis Bank My Zone Easy card page or at an Axis branch. You can book a new FD as part of the process if you do not already have one.
